Successful teams need to display skills in planning, briefing, motivating, controlling and appraising their performances. All this should be achieved by sensitivity and flexibility. This course will be an opportunity to develop skills mentioned above in a very practical way.

Delegates will learn how to work within and lead a group during a progressive series of indoor projects. Delegates will give and receive feedback to gain improvement and all this will be carried out in a relaxed atmosphere to aid learning.

• Barriers to effective communication and group decision making
• Projects Include:
  • The Millennium Bridge, a team challenge
  • The Eggspurts v The Eggshibitionists, a challenge in brinkmanship
  • Hole in a Postcard
  • Red Herring, participants have to guess who did what in their teams
  • The Train, a lively exercise on planning to build a train
  • Adrift in the Atlantic, decision making exercise
  • Mind Reading, communicating at all levels
• All activities will be carried out in a safe environment and do not require any specific physical abilities.
